This is a handwritten card.  There’s a word in the upper right hand corner which I believe to be Gisele -  so here’s to Aunt Gisele! 

2 6 oz pkg choc chips

1/2 lb butter

4 c sugar

1 1/2 c canned milk

1 1/2 T vanilla

20 marshmallows

2 c chopped nuts

10-15 marsmallows quartered

Place cut marshmellows on a tray & freeze

In large bowl cut butter into ch. chips set aside.  Bring to boil sugar evap milk & 20 marshmallows.  Boil 5 minutes stirring constantly.  Pour over ch chips & butter.  Stir until mixture starts to thicken.  Add nuts & vanilla & frozen marshmallows.  Pour into buttered 8×12x2″ pan.  Place in frig to set.

This is obviously an older version of the fudge recipe.  It has some handwritten notes on it, is stained and the card itself is yellowed. 

4 c sugar

1 can sego milk?

Pour over

2 pkg 19 cent Hershey bars (8 12 oz)

2 pkg chocolate chips (6 oz)

1 pt marshmellow topping

1/2 lb nuts (2 cups)

Beat until bars and chips are dissolved

NOTE – 210 degrees 8 min, too thick added little milk

1/2 c raspberries

1/2 t sugar replacement

1/2 c dietetic vanilla ice cream

1/2 peach

Slightly mash raspberries and sugar replacement

Let stand 5 minutes.  Place ice cream in dish top with peach slices and raspberries.

1/2 c flour

1/2 t baking powder

salt

3 oz unsweetened chocolate (melted)

1/2 c shortening

2 eggs beaten

2T granulated sugar

1 1/2 c sugar replacement

1 t vanilla

Combine all ingredients

That’s it.  There’s no information on oven temp or baking time.  If you try these and figure it out, let me know.

6 1/2 oz can tuna

2 T onion

2 T celery

1 T carrot (finely chopped)

1/4 c lo-cal blue cheese dressing

Mix

13 oz can evaporated milk

3 T cocoa

1/4 butter

1 T sugar replacement

1 t vanilla

2 1/2 c unsweetened ceral crumbs

1/4 c nuts

Combine milk and cocoa cook until dissolved. 

Add butter and sugar replacement salt and vainlla Bring to boil  Cook 2 minutes.  Remove from heat add cereal

Cool make into rolls.  Wrap in wax paper and chill over night.

Grandma has 13 different recipes for fudge – almost all of them involving some form of marshmallow (or marshmellow).  Who knew there were so many different ways to use marshmallow to make fudge??? 

1 12 oz ch bar (pretty sure that’s chocolate)

2 pkg ch chips

1 pt marshmallow cream

2 1/2 C nuts

4 C sugar

1 C evaporated milk

1/4 lb butter

Combine sugar milk & butter

bring to boil.  Boil 6 minutes

all to ch bar  ch chips  marshmallow cream

stir until blended.  add nuts & pour into buttered pan.   let stand 1 day before you cut.

This is a very well worn and stained card, hand written mostly in ink with some notes in pencil.  It is remarkably lacking in instructions, except for the back.  Based on the condition, I believe this is THE recipe for the rolls we’re all so fond of.  I could, of course, be wrong.  Chantal would know for sure.

2 t salt

1/2 C shortening

1/2 C sugar

4 eggs

2T yeast

1C water

Flour

Let rise twice

Started rolls 10:10

punch down 11:15

roll out 10-1 (I think this is to mean 10 minutes to 1p, again, could be wrong)

set to raise 1:30

ready to bake 3:30

This is hand written on a yellow index card in black marker with a penciled in note at the bottom.

Dissolve 3 Tlbs yeast into 3/4 c. warm water

Pour 1 1/2 c. boiling water over

1/2 c shortening

3 Tlbs salt

1/2 c honey

Add 1 can evaporated milk

3 C. water (I use 1 c. of eggs in place of one of the c. of water)

Beat in 7 C. flour

Add yeast

Beat in 8 more C. flour -
